CPA Exam Study Music

It's not my thing to write music reviews, but I had to share this with you.

I'm not really into rock music but my friend told me about this underground NY band S.T.E.M. I downloaded their album on iTunes and listened to it on the train to work. Amazon also has their album.

The music is really energetic and complex. The lyrics are seriously well thought out and cerebral. The lead singer's voice is so full of emotion. I thought Wow! I definitely recommend hearing the snippets on iTunes.

I thought their description on their site was cool:

S.T.E.M. (Space, Time, Energy and Mass) is a Progressive/Hard Rock band hailing from Long Island, NY. Paying homage to the influential greats whom defined Progressive Rock, S.T.E.M. manages to incorporate unconventional time signatures with heart pounding rhythms and mind accelerating lyrics yielding prolific thought by composition. By fluidly mixing elements of Mediterranean Soul, Funk and purist American metal, S.T.E.M. convincingly redefines the rock experience with the unique flavor of their arrangements and colorful harmonic progressions.

I can tell you from experience that it's a great album to listen to while working REG multiple choice problems on the train to work ;)

What do you listen to when you study?
